Edwin Lim is a Canadian artist, formally trained at the Alberta University of the Arts (BDes) and the School of Visual Arts (MFA).

A former medical illustrator and printmaker, Lim creates paintings that capture moments when internal experiences emerge. His practice explores symbolic duality and the constraints of existence. Through an experimental approach to portraiture, Lim reveals the identity beneath each subject’s outward persona.

Lim has exhibited at Connexion ARC, Illingworth Kerr Gallery, Latitude 53, Muttart Art Gallery, Nickel Galleries, and TRUCK Contemporary Art.
